WORSHIP COMMITTEE MINUTES

Present: Charlie Grindle, Kitsy Winthrop, Alex landry, Janet Puistonen, Jackie Olivari, Linda Blue


Issues Addressed:

Sermon in an envelope............Janet agrees to look through Tim's packet of sermons that he provided when candidating and consult with Tim.

Ushers for January 2009..........Committee members will take turns every week as head usher w/ Linda acting as head usher the first Sunday in Jan.

Usher Responsibilities.............in particular the head usher, to be discussed at the next meeting.

Ushers for the Solstice service............the "Suits" will usher; childen will greet and perhaps pass out orders of service. They wil not participate in the offering.


Eventide Update: this service will become weekly (Weds) in the New Year.

Burning Ritual for New Year: all set, Will in the pulpit.

Need for new members for Worship Committee....it is agreed to ask Celine McFarquar to join us. She was delighted to be asked and has accepted our invitation. She will join us at our next meeting.

Snow Cancellations: please check your e-mail before leaving home.

Next Worship Committee Meeting scheduled for 1/8/2009 @ 5:30 pm in the Parish House.
